MC Fitti is a Berlin-based rapper known for frequent old-school '80s nods and sporting a trademark beard, baseball cap, and sunglasses. Before his 2012 breakthrough hit "30 Degrees," Fitti (born Dirk Witek) moved to Berlin from his native Gifhorn to work in the film industry. He built film and television sets and tried his hand at acting, but eventually became involved with MCs Vokalmatador and Rhymin' Simon, accompanying them on tour and working behind the scenes. Encouraged to develop his own sound, Fitti began releasing singles in 2011, eventually scoring a hit with his Miami Vice-referencing breakout "30 Degrees."
