Biography
With Gerome Ragni, James Rado composed the lyrics for the most famous rock musical, 1969's Hair. Combined with music by Galt MacDermot, the songs "Let the Sunshine In," "Aquarius," and "Good Morning Starshine" became pop standards and hits for years to come. James Rado died on June 21, 2022, in Manhattan, New York, after suffering a cardio-respiratory arrest; he was 90 years old. ~ John Bush, Rovi
