Biography
Sage quickly rose to superstar status in the long-struggling stateside drum'n'bass scene as a member of the San Francisco collective Phunkateck. She became a local favorite after playing big parties like Quest and Thump as well as residencies at Ultra, Phunckateck, Eklektic, and the Blue Room. Soon she expanded her reach beyond San Francisco and eventually released her first major mix CD, Topaz Records' Stateside Sessions, Vol. 1. In addition to her DJing skills, Sage also devoted herself to production, notably collaborating with Bad Company on Breathe, a track featuring her vocals. ~ Jason Birchmeier, Rovi
