Swiss trombonist Christophe Schweizer made his name as a band leader, working with groups like 5SIX7 and Normal Garden. Also a member of several other groups (including the Mingus Big Band,) his reputation spread internationally, opening the door for international concerts and several appearances at the Montreux Jazz Festival.
