Tim James
Biography
Singer, songwriter, and musician Tim James was born in Dearborn, Michigan but grew up in the desert community of Apple Valley, California. He was raised on a steady diet of pop and soul music delivered by artists like Stevie Wonder, Duran Duran, Michael Jackson, James Taylor, and Madonna. When James was two, he surprised family members with his skills on a toy piano, playing tunes by ear, foreshadowing things to come. A year later he was singing, and by 11, writing songs. At age 12 he learned to play the guitar and drums, and by 16 he had joined a band where he gained some needed experience before branching out on his own.
James first tasted real success with his songwriting talents, penning the excellent tune I'll be Your Everything that was used as the theme song for Disney's #Inspector Gadget. He also wrote the theme for ABC's #Wasteland and the single Another Dumb Blonde for the movie #Snow Day. While touring, James has opened for major acts like Christina Aguilera. In 2000 he released his self-titled debut album. ~ Charlotte Dillon, Rovi
