Nir and fellow songwriter Asaf Avidan founded Asaf Avidan the Mojos in 2006, where he played bass and shared writing and production duties. The group issued three acclaimed albums, including their gold- and platinum-selling debut The Reckoning before ceasing operations after the release of 2010s Through the Gale. In 2011 Nir teamed up with ex-Mojos Yoni Sheleg (drums) and Roi Peled (guitar) for the In/Between EP, released under the moniker the Wrong Demons.
He formed the indie rock group LNFT in 2012 and unveiled Tales of a Drunken Man, which garnered regional praise. Nir relocated to Germany in 2014, where he recorded the band's sophomore LP Time to Bleed. In 2016 Nir and Andrew Campbell formed the management company, publishing, booking, and record label I Am You Music Group (IMU). In addition to releasing albums by artists like Totemo, ORI, Sivan Talmor, Bucharest, and Trace Kotik, the label issued Nir's first solo effort, Obsession, in 2019. ~ James Christopher Monger, Rovi
