Avant-garde artist Simon Fisher-Turner has worked under numerous monikers during his career, among them SFT, which he has used as an output for his film compositions. Fisher-Turner debuted as SFT in 2002 on Mute Records with Swift, an album he subtitled as "Twenty Pieces of Music, Film & Silence."
