Signed to Columbia in the early '70s, Dave Nicol recorded several popular singles in his native Canada, including "Goodbye Mama" in 1973 and "Mexico" the following year. All the Wild Birds was released in 1975. He later lost his contract with Columbia but continued to record and play around his home, British Columbia.
