Max Nunes
Biography
Son of the humorist Terra de Sena (Lauro Nunes), Max Nunes wrote the valse "Seus Olhos Confessam" at age 12. He studied violão (acoustic guitar) with professor Milton Meirelles, who also was responsible for his debut (still as a boy) in the Rádio Educadora, in 1934. After the success of his first performance, he became a regular in the famous Programa Casé. Work at the Rádio Guanabara followed, where he was featured along with Lourdinha Bittencourt and Lola Silva. He won second place in a poll promoted by a Carioca newspaper on the Most Popular National Radio Singer.
