Adam Forkner was a founding member of Yume Bitsu and Surface of Eceon, and also recorded and engineered artists at K Records' Dub Narcotic Studio, including Calvin Johnson, Little Wings, Wolf Colonel, Greg Weeks, and Kinski. His solo album, [[[[VVRSSNN]]]] (pronounced "version"), combined electronic sounds with vocals and guitars, blurring boundaries between techno-pop, pop/rock, and (particularly in the lengthy instrumental passages) new age music.
