Biography
Oakland, California's Feral Ohms play raw, primal, high-speed rock & roll equally influenced by '70s hard rock, punk, and Japanese noise-rock. The band consists of guitarist/vocalist Ethan Miller (Comets on Fire, Howlin Rain), drummer Chris Johnson (Drunk Horse, Sir Lord Von Raven), and bassist Josh Haynes (Nudity). The group formed in 2011, and their first release was 2013's "Living Junkyard 7" on Valley King Records. "Super Ape," on Agitated Records, followed in 2014. The group's cover of "I Fall" by the Damned was released as a single on Alternative Tentacles in 2016, and later in the year, the band released an installment of Castle Face's Live in San Francisco series. Five months later, in March 2017, Feral Ohms released their self-titled debut studio album. ~ Paul Simpson, Rovi
