Biography
Eclectic British pop project Insecure Men released their self-titled debut album in early 2018, taking cues from exotica, early electronic pop, glam, and '70s songwriting giants like Harry Nilsson and the Carpenters.

Former schoolmates Saul Adamczewski (Fat White Family, Moonlandingz) and Ben Romans-Hopcraft (Childhood) conceived the band in 2015, amassing behind them a large ensemble to flesh out their distinctively retro-leaning sound. While working together with Sean Lennon in upstate New York on the collaborative Moonlandingz project, Adamczewski began recording tracks for Insecure Men, which Lennon also produced. Making their live debut in London in early 2017, the band issued a pair of singles late that year in advance of its eponymous debut, which arrived in February 2018. In October of that same year, a follow-up appeared in the form of a covers album called Karaoke for One: Vol. 1. Played entirely by Adamczewski, the set featured songs by George Jones, Van Morrison, and the Pogues. ~ Timothy Monger, Rovi
