Biography
Charles Daellenbach is a founder and tuba player with the highly successful brass ensemble Canadian Brass. Since the quintet's inception in 1970, he has helped popularize his often-neglected instrument. Born to a musical family in Wisconsin, he received a Ph.D. from the Eastman School of Music. He began a teaching career at the University of Toronto, where he met trombonist Gene Watts, with whom he formed Canadian Brass, famous for an eclectic approach to brass repertoire., Rovi
