Biography
Jason Narducy's music career started at age ten, when he played guitar in the Illinois-based punk band Verboten. The group played in Evanston -- Narducy's hometown -- and the Chicago area. After Narducy played in several other bands (Planetary Zygote, the Dissidents, On, and the Cupcakes), he met musician Alison Chesley while they worked at a local coffee shop and the two soon struck up a musical kinship, forming Jason and Alison. Their CD Woodshed was released in late 1994. In 1995, they toured with Bob Mould (whom Narducy had met in 1990), and by 1996 the duo had added to their lineup and changed their name to Verbow. Mould produced the band's EP, Holiday, as well as their first album, Chronicles. ~ Gina Boldman, Rovi
