An in-demand freelance jazz drummer from Chicago, Robert Barry is most well-known as a member of Sun Ra's Arkestra. Barry's musical career began as a teenager in the late '40s. Over the years he has performed with such jazz luminaries as Miles Davis, Gene Ammons, and Johnny Griffin.
