Formed in 1990, Hungary's Republic -- named so as a tribute to the times -- are a folk-influenced rock and pop band inspired by such Magyar legends as Hobo Blues Band and Locomotiv GT. Members Bódi László (vocals), Patai Tamás (guitar), Tóth Zoltán (guitars), Boros Csaba (bass), and Nagy László (drums) released the album Fényes Utakon in late 2007.
