The New York Trio Project
Biography
The New York Trio Project consists of members Adam Rafferty (guitar), Jeff 'Siege' Siegel (drums), and John Menegon (bass). Although this jazz outfit has issued a long recording thus far, 2001's Fifth House, each member are jazz veterans who possess quite impressive musical resumes. Rafferty has issued several solo albums on his own (1997's First Impressions, 1999's Blood, Sweat Bebop, and 2001's Kush) in addition to playing with others, Siegel was a longtime member of Sir Roland Hanna's trio and is a member of Stevens, Siegel Ferguson, while Menegon has performed alongside such acclaimed artists as Kenny Burrell, Jay Clayton, Jimmy Cobb, Jack DeJohnette, and Lee Konitz, among others. ~ Greg Prato, Rovi
