The Minister of Music and Arts of the Cornerstone Community Church in Houston, Texas, West began assisting choirs, groups, soloists, and gospel musicians in 2004. He released the acclaimed Jesus Promoters in 2015, which included the Earnest Pugh-assisted gospel radio hit "God of Everything." Before long, West and his choir were sharing stages with Kirk Franklin, Marvin Sapp, Chris Tomlin, Byron Cage, and Bishop William Murphy, among others. In 2018, the group inked a deal with Kerry Douglas' Black Smoke Music Worldwide and released ChoirOlogy: The Study of Choir Music, which garnered Stellar Award, Steeple Award, and Rhythm of Gospel Award Nominations. The LP's lead single, "Open the Floodgates," reached number two on the Billboard gospel singles chart. Do It Again appeared in 2020 and landed the group their first number one with the life-affirming "I'm Next." Early 2022 saw the release of "Your Name," ahead of the arrival of the full-length Old Fellowship Hour later that year. ~ James Christopher Monger, Rovi
