Formed by ex-Police member Stewart Copeland, the drummer brought together Level 42's Mark King (bass), King Crimson's Adrian Belew (guitar), and Italian multi-instrumentalist Vittorio Cosma (keys) to fully realize material that Copeland and Cosma had collaborated on since their work on the 2003 production of La Notte della Taranta. Copeland and co. headed to studios in Milan with producer Claudio Dentes to start recording what would become the debut Gizmodrome album. Released in mid-2017 and taking inspiration from all four members' eclectic backgrounds, the eponymous album saw the supergroup delivering a diverse mix of art-rock and pop. ~ Rich Wilson, Rovi
