London based artist Jnr Choi utilizes a wide array of styles, touching on moments of drill, R&B, trap, and commercial rap on any given track. He brought all of these sounds to his 2021 debut full-length SS21, and had a viral hit just months after the release of his album with the atmospheric drill track "To The Moon."

Jnr Choi was born in South East London and spent time in Gambia before returning to England in his late teens to pursue modeling. After modeling for a few years, he began working on music, releasing early singles like 2018's "MOVES" or 2020's "BELVEDERE." In July of 2021 he released his first full length, SS21, which featured appearances from One Mojo, Manna, and others. In November of 2021, Jnr Choi released standalone single "To The Moon," a spacey drill track that sampled singer/songwriter Sam Tompkins' cover of the Bruno Mars song "Talking to the Moon." Jnr Choi's track quickly went viral, being played millions of times on TikTok and also skyrocketing on streaming services.
