Biography
Jean Glover was named Jean Ray when she teamed up with her future husband, Jim Glover, as a folk duo in the 1960s Greenwich Village folk scene. She would be the female voice in their sub-Ian Sylvia-style folk and folk-rock albums. She also wrote a few songs that appeared on their second and third LPs. One Sure Thing, which she co-wrote with Harvey Brooks, was the best original song Jim Jean did and would be covered later in the 1960s on Fairport Convention's first album. ~ Richie Unterberger, Rovi
