Biography
Another of the all-too-mysterious bluesmen recorded by Paramount in the late 1920s and early '30s -- and lost to time, like any paperwork possessed by the company -- James Wiggins left behind a pair of recordings done in conjunction with fellow pianist Blind Leroy Garnett for Paramount in October of 1929. Also known as James Boogie It Wiggins, he was believed to have been based in Dallas, TX, for at least part of his career. ~ Bruce Eder, Rovi
