Biography
This French duo from Nantes started to exude his noisy sound in November 1998. Their music has always been very influenced by the Chicago scene and especially by Steve Albini's Shellac. Face to face, the guitar and the drum are the two instruments dueling in the band: on one side stands Tony C., with many effect pedals, facing the drummer Julien F. Riffs and beats are both syncopated, heavy, and powerful. In the first two years of their career, they have played as guest for bands as reputed as Laddio Bolocko, U.S. Maple, Storm and Stress, and Lumen. The first production of the band is a split single with the band Ulan Bator, out in June 2000. The first album, Sport, is a co-production RuminanCe and Ottonecker and was published in February 2001. ~ Romain Guillou, Rovi
