Turbo was born Chandler Durham in College Park, Georgia in 1994. Inspired by producers such as Swizz Beatz and Kanye West, he began making beats in 2013, and he produced a track on the self-titled 2016 debut by Bankroll Mafia, a collective featuring rappers such as T.I. and Shad da God. Turbo then contributed notable productions to Hustle Gang's We Want Smoke, a 2017 compilation on T.I.'s Grand Hustle Records, as well as mixtapes by Gunna, Lil Baby, and Shad da God. He executive produced Lil Baby and Gunna's 2018 mixtape Drip Harder, which included the Top Five U.S. pop hit "Drip Too Hard" and was eventually certified platinum. He also produced "Yosemite," the third single from Travis Scott's acclaimed Astroworld. Featuring Gunna and Nav, the track peaked at number 25 on the Billboard 200. Turbo produced several tracks on Gunna's 2019 album Drip or Drown 2, and signed a co-publishing deal with Warner/Chappell Music. Turbo released the single "Quarantine Clean" (with Gunna and Young Thug) in April 2020, and produced several tracks on Gunna's Wunna album. ~ Paul Simpson, Rovi
