Biography
The Siegel-Schwall Blues Band, with Corky Siegel, gained popularity when his band and Seiji Ozawa's Chicago Symphony Orchestra collaborated on William Russo's Three Pieces for Blues Band and Symphony Orchestra in 1968. The next year, he recorded with the New York Philharmonic. These projects led to Siegel's work for Alligator Records, Corky Siegel's Chamber Blues. It has been performed throughout America, at the Aspen Music Festival, Chicago's Orchestra Hall and UCLA's Fine Arts Series. ~ John Bush, Rovi
