Biography
Bassist Dennis Crouch is one of the co-founders of the Time Jumpers, a Nashville-based Western swing band. A native of Missouri, he grew up in Strawberry, AR. His family was a musical one, with his dad playing guitar and his siblings playing mandolin and fiddle, while Crouch took up the upright bass. When he was ten years old, a Bob Wills recording turned him on to Western swing. In 1996, he settled in Nashville and began working as a session musician. Crouch has played or recorded with a long list of artists that includes Dolly Parton, Jerry Reed, Tim O'Brien, Steve Earle, and Marty Stuart, among others. ~ Linda Seida, Rovi
