Biography
As founding members of U.K. R&B-pop outfit Sugababes, Siobhán Donaghy, Mutya Buena, and Keisha Buchanan had each parted company with the group throughout the noughties, with Donaghy leaving in 2001, Buena in 2005, and Buchanan in 2009, all amid rumors of strained relationships within the band. With reconciliations complete, the trio decided to re-form in 2012. Using their first names as their new moniker -- although it's often shortened to MKS -- to rid them of the baggage that the Sugababes name came with, the trio entered the recording studio to start work on new material. Handpicking writers and producers including Emeli Sandé and Dev Hynes, MKS released the first taste of new their material -- the single "Flatline" -- in September 2013. Their debut album is currently scheduled for an early 2014 release. ~ Rich Wilson, Rovi
