Biography
An international heavy metal group featuring current and former members of Wales' Bullet for My Valentine, Canada's Threat Signal, and the United States' Still Remains and Throw the Fight, Kill the Lights emerged in 2019 with a sound that marries the relentless pace of metalcore with classic NWOBHM influences.
The group was formed in 2018 by drummer and Bullet for My Valentine co-founder Michael Moose Thomas, vocalist and Throw the Fight frontman James Clark, Still Remains guitarist Jordan Whelan, and Threat Signal guitarist Travis Montgomery. Employing a muscular style built on a foundation of neck-snapping post-hardcore that propagates huge anthemic choruses, the group began releasing punishing, hook-driven singles like "Shed My Skin" and "Plagues" in early 2020 via Fearless Records, with plans for a full-length effort to arrive later in the year. ~ James Christopher Monger, Rovi
