A singer/songwriter who got her start at a very early age -- she began work on her first album a year before graduating from high school -- Hana Pestle was born in Billings, MT, but moved to Los Angeles (an obvious choice, really) to pursue her dream of pop stardom. Although the recording of her full-length debut recording began in 2006, the album itself wasn't made available until 2008. In the meantime, to help get her name into the pop consciousness, Pestle released a stopgap EP in May of 2008. In addition to being heard on the four-song collection, Pestle could also be found hitting some of Los Angeles' more famous stages, sharing bills with such established '90s names as Live and Collective Soul. ~ Chris True, Rovi
