Biography
Singer/songwriter Lorna Hunt clung to music as a kid, for she never had a permanent place to call home. Music was home to her. She and her younger brother Laird mastered the guitar at an early age. By high school, Hunt found herself singing in choirs at church and school while also performing as a digital arena composer. Hunt's musical direction was clear upon entering college at the Naropa Institute in Boulder, Colorado. There, Hunt earned a music degree; she went on to spend a year at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, and her confidence grew. With two degrees in hand, Hunt yearned to make an album. She had professional training; however, her love for folk music didn't require such formalities. In 1998, Hunt made her debut with All in One Day. The cinematic background of this particular album gained critical praise for Hunt. Four years later, Hunt returned with Sentimental Bedlam, co-produced by Dave Willey of Boulder's Hamster Theatre. ~ MacKenzie Wilson, Rovi
