Formed in Nashville the early 2010s by singer/songwriter Thad Cockrell and drummer Jeremy Lutito, Leagues make a pulsing brand of indie dance-rock. With Cockrell having a handful of solo and duet albums on his résumé -- some as a straight-up country artist -- and Lutito having toured behind Jars of Clay, their debut album as Leagues, You Belong Here, was released in early 2013 on Bufalotone Records.
