A native Texan, Jones began working as a child actor in films at around the age of eight. About a decade later, during the Second World War years, he appeared on radio, including doing the voice of Henry Aldrich on the popular Aldrich Family series. When television came along in the following decade, Jones found out that a guy who could handle horses was much in demand. He starred in a series entitled #Buffalo Bill Jr. and also helped Jock Mahoney stay in the saddle as #The Range Rider. A 1991 remastering of the #Pinocchio soundtrack brings the listener the sound of Jones' squeaky voice in its full glory. In 2001 the actor was still up to the job of making guest appearances at events such as the Cambridge, OH, Hoppy Festival. ~ Eugene Chadbourne, Rovi
