Contemporary folksinger from Argentina Luciano Pereyra (born Luciano Ariel Pereyra) started singing along with a local threesome called los del Regreso, led by his father Luis Angel Pereyra, at the age of six. A decade later, Luciano Pereyra was recording his debut album, Amaneciendo, released by EMI in 1999. Combining traditional Argentinean folklore and pop rhythms, the young artist was acclaimed during his performances at Buenos Aires' opera theater on September 3, 4, and 5, 1999, while his song Soy Un Inconciente was climbing on local charts.
