Korean-American pop singer Bobby got his start as a member of K-pop outfit iKon before starting his own solo pursuits in 2016. Born Kim Ji-won in Seoul, he was raised in Fairfax, Virginia until he was a teenager, returning to Korea at the age of 16. He signed with YG Entertainment in 2011 and starred on a number of reality shows. One, Show Me the Money, awarded him the top prize for his rap skills in 2014, which led to recruitment to the newly formed septet, iKon. The group debuted in 2015 with the album Welcome Back. Kim made his solo debut just a year later with the single "Holup," which was included on The Mobb EP, a collaboration with rapper Mino. In late 2017, he released his first full-length, Love and Fall.
