Biography
Actor John Hurt tells the beloved -Arabian Knights tale of -Aladdin the Magic Lamp for Rabbit Ears' 1994 multi-medium children's release with musical accompaniment by Mickey Hart. The title is available as either an audiobook (spoken word), a hardback book illustrated by Greg Couch, along with an audio cassette and as a VHS video. Hurt, who studied at London's Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, has acted in every movie genre from comedy of Mel Brooks' #Spaceballs (1987) to his acting tour de force in #A Man for All Seasons (1966) to the poignant #The Elephant Man, a role that garnered Hurt a 1980 Best Actor Oscar nomination and won him a 1980 British Academy Award.
