Formed in 2001, Washington, D.C., duo the Aquarium, comprised of Jason Hutto on keyboards and vocals and Laura Harris on drums, gained a following through a series of hotly received live performances that featured not just textured and dense musicality, but film backing supplied by vocalist Hutto. Both have worked with other groups, Jason (as guitarist) with Motor Cycle Wars (Who's No. 1?) and Laura with Benjy Ferree.
