Biography
Los Angeles based singer/songwriter Juliet Simms is best known as a contestant on the 2012 season of the NBC reality TV talent competition The Voice. A native of San Francisco, Simms had her first break in 2006 after several songs she recorded and uploaded to MySpace were licensed to MTV and featured on The Real World and Road Rules. Simms is also a member of the melodic rock outfit Automatic Loveletter featuring her brother, bassist/producer Tommy Simms.The band recorded an EP and even appeared twice on the Vans Warped Tour, eventually releasing a full-length album, The Kids Will Take Their Monsters On for the indie label Paper Plastick in 2011. In 2012, as a finalist on the NBC singing competition The Voice, Simms' recording of the Police's "Roxanne" topped the digital pop charts. ~ Matt Collar, Rovi
