Biography
Luca Aleotti, aka Grido, launched his career as the youngest member of Gemelli DiVersi, an Italian rap duo that scored multiple hits during the late ‘90s and early 2000s. After releasing seven albums with the group, he launched a concurrent solo career in May 2011 with Io Grido, a popular debut that combined hip-hop, Italian pop, neo-soul, and dance music. J-Ax, his older brother and an influential rapper in his own right, co-produced the set. Io Grido debuted at number nine on the Italian charts and spun off several singles, many of which dealt with Grido's love for marijuana. ~ Andrew Leahey, Rovi
