Biography
TV Noise are an EDM duo from Utrecht, The Netherlands, whose intricately detailed productions combine nostalgic rave/house piano melodies with heavily manipulated vocal samples and dubstep/electro-house bass. After forming in 2010 with no prior musical experience, TV Noise began releasing tracks on Spinnin' Records in 2012, including collaborations with Julian Jordan and Martin Garrix. Quickly building up a buzz, the duo completed remixes for Christina Aguilera, Style of Eye, Spencer Hill, and others, and released a single ("The Hold") on Sander van Doorn's Doorn Records in 2014. They self-released a digital EP, the eclectic Fall Out, in early 2015. Later in the year, Calvin Harris released TV Noise's single "Tell Me" on his Fly Eye label, and the duo remixed Showtek's "90's by Nature." In 2016, the duo went in a more pop-leaning direction, and incorporated instruments such as flutes and guitars into the mix. Their first single under this new sound was "Bring Me Down" (featuring Bright Sparks), which appeared on Spinnin' Records. Returning a year later, TV Noise issued the Cell Phone EP, which featured a vibrant mix of trap rhythms and wild dancefloor bangers. 2018 began with "Milkshake," another single in the Cell Phone vein, followed quickly by the Drew Love collaboration "Run." Throughout the remainder of the year, TV Noise continued issuing a steady stream of bangers like "Scream," "Weird," and "Fire," the latter of which featured Blinders. Their Bring It Back EP arrived in early 2019, but it was the Dillon Francis collaboration, "EDM O' CLOCK," that quickly racked up the streams. ~ Paul Simpson, Rovi
