Biography
Handel and Bononcini were associated with Ariosto and it was probably with their association that he made his fame in the realm of composition. Before his stay in London he was the court composer at Berlin and a producer of operas in Italy and Austria. His most noted operas include "Dafne," "Ciro," "Lucius Verus," and "Atys". ~ Keith Johnson, Rovi
