Montreal-native France Joli began singing in 1974 for commercials and talent shows. By 1979, she had a number 13 national hit, "Come to Me." It was followed by Joli's self-titled album the same year. After appearing on shows by Bob Hope, Merv Griffin and Dinah Shore, she began playing in Las Vegas with Peaches and Herb.
