Biography
Active and prolific since the '90s, left-field rap artists and siblings Madlib and Oh No have recorded together on an infrequent basis, but in 2020 followed up a couple compilation appearances as the Professionals with a self-titled album under that name.

The Oxnard, California natives' sporadic work with one another dates back to 1999, when Oh No was featured on Soundpieces: Da Antidote! by Lootpack, his elder brother's group. As the Professionals, they appeared in 2008 on Madlib's WLIB: King of the Wigflip album, and three years later were credited as featured artists on Madlib and Frank Nitt's NittyVille. Soon after they contributed "Big Whips" to the All City label's Gangster Music, Vol. 1 compilation (as Oh No + Madlib), they completed a self-titled Professionals LP. The Professionals arrived on Madlib Invazion in January 2020. ~ Andy Kellman, Rovi
