Accomplished drummer and musical experimenter Gunter Muller has played an electronically modified kit since 1981, when he rigged it to allow for on-the-spot modulating of drum sounds using a mobile pick-up and adapted microphone system. Born in Munchen, Germany, in 1954, Muller chose to live in Switzerland for over 30 years.
