In 2017, Jedi recruited J. Balvin, Ozuna, and Arcangel for his second single, the trap-influenced "Ahora Dice." Its video garnered more than 1.3 billion views. He followed with "Bipolar" in March 2018, with musical assistance from Ozuna and Brytiago. In addition, Jedi wrote and produced the title track to J Balvin's chart-topping Vibras. The following year, Jedi was one of several producers who worked on Karol G's breakthrough album, Ocean, co-producing the track "Bebesita." He also co-wrote and co-produced Lunay's hit single "Soltera" as well as his long-player Épico. That year, Jedi took home the Latin Billboard Award for producer of the year.
Jedi stayed busy during the early part of the pandemic, mainly doing production and other studio work on Bad Bunny's international smash YHLQMDLG. He also lent his studio talents to post-production on Bunny's live effort, El Último Tour del Mundo.
In addition to producing, Jedi returned to recording in 2021, teaming up with Anuel AA on the single "Los de Siempre," a tune he co-wrote and produced with Gaby Music. Jedi also issued "La Llevo al Cielo" (feat. Nengo Flow), with additional participation from Anuel AA and Chencho Corleone. In July 2022, Jedi and Gaby Music co-wrote and produced Rosalia's global smash "Despecha." In September, with assistance from Young Miko and Lunay, Jedi paid a trap tribute to San Juan's Condado neighborhood with a charting single of the same name. ~ Neil Z. Yeung, Rovi
