Mike Sturgis is a drummer who attended the University of Miami from 1982 to 1986. He toured with Bob James, playing his brand of jazz. He did various session work with such artists as Asia, Nina Hagen, Phil Manzanera, and Phenomena. He not only recorded with Asia, but also toured with them. His next career move was hooking up with Wishbone Ash as their drummer. He stayed with that group until 1998. His career has also included working with Iron Maiden's Adrian Smith and more work with Asia. ~ Gary Hill, Rovi
