CHIMNEY is the solo project of producer/multi-instrumentalist Dan Molad, drummer for Lucius and former member of Elizabeth the Catapult and Via Audio. In addition to Lucius, his producing/engineering résumé includes Brooklyn indie rock outfits San Fermin, Here We Go Magic, and Pavo Pavo, as well as Tweedy, JD McPherson, and Monica Lionheart, among others. Released by Dine Alone in mid-2017, shortly after he relocated from New York to Los Angeles, CHIMNEY's eponymous debut offered an off-center, bittersweet indie pop written, produced, and recorded entirely by Molad. ~ Marcy Donelson, Rovi
