Borrowing the shiniest and crunchiest bits of '70s and '80s power pop and metal, CRX feature vocalist/guitarist Nick Valensi, drummer Ralph Alexander, bassist Jon Safley, and guitarists/vocalists Richie Follin and Darian Zahedi. Valensi is also lead guitarist for the Strokes, while Alexander is also a member of the Dose, Safley comes from the Reflections, and Follin plays with Guards. Inspired by their shared love of Elvis Costello, Cheap Trick, and the Cars, they started playing together in 2013.
