Biography
A fine bop guitarist, Ron Jackson recorded two albums as a leader for Muse. Born in the Philippines (his father was in the military), Jackson grew up near Boston. He attended Berklee starting in 1982, and played electric bass in Paris during 1985-1987 (including with Bobby Few, Hal Singer, and Leo Wright). Jackson returned to both the U.S. and the guitar in 1987, working with James Spaulding, Jimmy McGriff, and with his own groups. ~ Scott Yanow, Rovi
