Virginia Bocelli was born on March 21, 2012, to Andrea Bocelli and his second wife, Veronica Berti. Virginia has two older half-brothers, pianist Amos and tenor Matteo. Her parents were married on her second birthday. She began singing and piano lessons early and is also competitive in artistic gymnastics. Bocelli made her debut in December 2020, singing a duet of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah with her father as part of his COVID-19-inspired livestream production Believe, which followed shortly after the release of Andrea's album of the same title. The pair shared the stage again at the 2021 White House Christmas Concert, once more performing Cohen's tune. Virginia made her recording debut the following year with A Family Christmas, joining her father and brother Matteo on the release and subsequent performances. The album offered arrangements for three voices of popular Christmastime songs along with an original by Andrea and Stephan Moccio, The Greatest Gift; the trio performed this new song at the 2022 Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance at Royal Albert Hall. Returning to Italy, they also delivered a surprise performance of Il Giorno Più Speciale (another new song from their album) from a balcony at the Mondadori Store in Milan to announce an upcoming streaming event. ~ Keith Finke, Rovi
