Biography
Atlanta-based rapper UnotheActivist was born in 1996 and began rapping by the time he was in high school. Early musical projects included a group called TFZ, which included his cousin Playboi Carti. After a short-lived stint at college, Uno dedicated himself completely to music, releasing his first mixtape, No More Thotties, in 2015 and gaining traction with his song "Parkin' Lot Pimping." The next year, he followed up with the Gift of Gab mixtape and also drew attention with his guest spot on Playboi Carti's single "What." Constant shows and studio collaborations followed, including tracks with peers like Thouxanbanfauni, Trippie Redd, and Maxo Kream.

In 2017, Uno released his much-anticipated Live.Shyne.Die mixtape, which featured production from Lutim and Peyote, as well as features from Famous Dex, YSL Duke, and many others. Limbus, Pt. 2 followed in 2018, and another sequel, this time a second volume of his 2015 collaboration with Thouxanbanfauni called For Christ Sake 2, appeared in 2019. UnotheActivist's proper album debut, 8, arrived in 2020. ~ Fred Thomas, Rovi
